Winter Garden and Relaxation Area
Central to this design is a winter garden, showcasing a stylish table with seating for eight, crafted for year-round enjoyment. The terrace features a cozy seating area with a four-seater sofa, complemented by coffee tables and poufs. Encircled by lush greenery, this space offers a secluded retreat, shielding occupants from the nearby residential structures. A designated relax zone, sunken in southern sunlight, is perfect for sunbathing from the comfort of thoughtfully placed loungers.
Metal Planters and Vegetation
Elegantly designed metal planters add a sophisticated touch without overwhelming the space. The plant selection, curated for year-round appeal, is resilient enough to endure the extreme weather conditions typical of Sofia’s high-rise buildings.
Strategically positioned along the terrace are three multi-stemmed maples (Acer palmatum), their bases adorned with evergreen carex grass. The southern and western perimeters are safeguarded by a tall yew (Taxus baccata) hedge, while the northern edge features low-growing euonymus. A secondary row of perennial flowering plants injects vibrant color and dynamic energy into the landscape design. Each corner of the terrace is accentuated with tall planters containing ornamental grass Calamagrostis (Calamagrostis brachytricha). This adds visual interest and subtly frames the space.
